In August 2019 I was an artist-in-residence at the LH Projects in Joseph, Oregon. During my time there, I created a variety of forms, decorated with brightly colored underglazes using stencils and freehand painting. The forms ranged from a 2.5 foot cylinder to slab platters with incised and carved designs. The geometric sculptures were created from joined slabs, suggesting sedan chairs and empty rooms with ornate and colorful framing
